ARTISTIC STATEMENT

As a multi-hyphenated talent within multiple fields of the arts, T'Shauna Henry values the variety of perspectives, perceptions, and personalities of storytelling in dance, theatre, photography, and film. Growing up as a dancer primarily, she learned to appreciate the differences the other worlds introduced her to. When she used photography as a way to strengthen her eye and visualize and capture herself in the same lines aligned with the dance peers she aspired to be, she opened a new door that led to a new lens through film and later got to fulfill her dream of performing in theatre. She still operates her mission that of which movement and the intersection of visual and physical performance and art.
