T'Shauna Henry began her dance journey at the age of three when she was put into classes by her mother. After taking a half-decade hiatus, she was enrolled at the Grayson School of Ballet when she was twelve and later joined their pre-professional ballet company under the direction of Jennifer Gordon in 2013 at Northeast Atlanta Ballet, home of the Lilburn School of Ballet. She also danced at her high school theatre and dance department at Grayson High School and their brief dance company in 2014-2015.

Dance being her first love and passion of carrer choice, she trained during her finla years of high school with them and later started to study dance as a major at Valdosta State University. Later realizing she wanted to explore more with acting but feeling as though she'd already known the world of theatre because of dance, she decided to transfer to Georgia State University and began to study film instead. During her time there, she joined a student organization: Dance Ensemble, which had been created as a result of the original dance program being cut from the institution back in 1999. She performed at showcases, events, and competitions with them until she graduated with her B.A. in Film & Media degree at the end of 2018.

Having completed a series of internships at her time of school, she began to work freelance as a performing and teaching artist in Atlanta. She taught with Alliance Theatre, Forefront Arts, Once Upon a Ballet, and back at the Grayson and Lilburn Schools of Ballet. When she was heavily inspired and had time, she created what she coins as "self-portrait dance films" where she would record herself in natural spaces and improv dance to the music of her favorite artists many of the films were influenced by. She admired the monochromatic world and imagery of Solange Knowles' work and began conducting these films as odes to her such as "Dancing on Tables", "Timely", "Love Thy, Lovely", and "Tearrod".

When the pandemic occurred, she taught for a little while before taking a personal gap year of teaching. In that time, she gained choreographic opportunities with professional and colleagite theatres such as The Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse for their all-female production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and Georgia Gwinnett College's partnership with the Aurora Theatre of their production of "Ordinary Days". During that time, she teamed up with former Northeast Atlanta Ballet company dancers to create Gwinnett County's first adult professional contemporary company: Gwinnett Dance Project. She was one of the founding members and one of the board of directors in her role as addressed as Multi-Media Director where she applied her passion for film and photography to help promote the company on social media. During that time, she also guest-taught as a dance creative for Elevate Dance under Melody Mills and also became a project manager for Peace, Love, and Dance Project ATL by Indya Childs.

Recently, she had been granted the opportunity to combine all her passions together into one with a national dance competition company: Kids Artistic Revue, as a photographer. She got to travel all over the country to their tours and photograph performances and dancers onstage, which inspired her to pick up the camera years prior.

Currently, she teaches at Teaching Little Children (TLC Dance), The School of The Georgia Ballet, Renaissance International School of Performing Arts (RISPA), Red Phoenix Theatre Company, and Playmaking for Girls at the Global Village Project with Synchronicity Theatre. Now back from her teaching hiatus, she's ready to teach and from her students and open their eyes to the world of dance in a positive, versatile, energetic, and healing way.

Her goals as a dancer have always been to keep doing it. Dance being her first love is something that had been passed down to her by her mother, and she's blessed that dance has been a foundation for her in so many of her other passions in life and career. As she got older, she realized she wanted to pursue it professionally but also intersect with film, photography, and theatre.

Dance will always be a motivation for T'Shauna, and she herself can state like the ABBA song that she is truly a dancing queen.
